Life assurance options
Life assurance and critical illness cover are the kinds of insurance policies that people don’t want to think about in too much detail as they cover people for when the very worst happens. Unfortunately, these policies vary so much and there are so many different types of insurance policy that cover income protection, etc. that it is very important to get the right one for you, or you either may not be covered for the things you need to be covered for or may be paying over the odds for cover you don’t actually need.
The reason these types of protections can be complicated is because the list of what they do or don’t cover can be extensive. No one can predict the future so knowing what cover you will need is difficult. While some policies pay out amounts to loved ones in the event of your death to help them pay off the mortgage or support themselves, others pay out over the short term to cover basic expenses if you are unable to work and some pay out over the long term if you are unable to work due to a serious illness or injury. These are separate types of policy but even within the same types, there is a lot of variation in, for example, which illnesses or types of injury are covered.
All this choice and ability to get just the right insurance policies in place to protect you and your family is great but it can make choosing which ones to have difficult. That is why we take the time to get to know your circumstances such as income, dependants, health, where you live, etc. to help you decide which insurance policies would cover the things you would most like covered without being excessive and costing more than they need to.
Risk Warning: The plan will have no cash in value at any time, and will cease at the end of the term. If premiums are not maintained, then cover will lapse & The policy may not cover all definitions of a critical illness.
